You are running out of time, the AC won’t go off, you can’t possibly find your keys, and your stocking just ripped! Eeek! Who do you call when days like these hit, but you need to be on time to meet your client or your mother-in-law, pick up your kid from school or get to that dinner date? A taxi service, obviously. However, not everyone is as quick as you to taxi it up; in fact, we’ve been gathering complaints from a number of unhappy taxi customers around to make an estimate of what pisses the clients off the most and figure out why they’ve gone on a taxi detox altogether.

Here, we’ve listed the most common complaints below and tried to give the best possible answers to them… well, our Yellow Checker Cab team did. Anyway, do read them and tell us what you think:

“Taxis are just too expensive for the service they provide”

Possibly true, but hear us out. The fare price usually depends on the taxi company you book and the destination you are going to. It also depends on the driver’s ethics (if he’ll take the longer way just to charge more), your taxi company’s business policy and whether drivers’ salaries depend on the number of their daily rides or if they have a monthly salary. The drivers in our company are set and secured, they told us they love working here, so they have no reason to skin you alive. Our prices agree with every wallet, so maybe you should try us, and a few more taxi companies before you label all taxicab services “too expensive.”

“They never come on time! I think that’s super annoying, and disrespectful!

You are absolutely right. But, then again, this is also a matter of the company’s ethics. On our end, we make sure all rides are tended ASAP. Why? Because we absolutely understand what it means to be short for time! In fact, one of the reasons we’ve started this company was to help everyone who’s in a rush to squeeze an entire month of errands in a single day.

The moment our drivers receive your call, they are immediately dispatched to the location. Unless you live a hundred miles away from our dispatch center, your taxicab will arrive within minutes. We get it, you need to get to your location on time – and we’ll make sure you do, every time. Plus, booking a taxi is more convenient that rushing through the crazy traffic in your own car, finding parking, and all that stuff… isn’t it?

“The drivers smell bad, and so do the cabs. I hate it!”

Sorry, but – no, they don’t. We have a policy at Yellow Checker Cab – if you feel like not getting out of bed today and taking a shower, don’t come to work at all! Jokes aside, all of our staff takes their hygiene seriously and makes sure they are not only super polite with the customers but are always presentable, clean and fresh. On top of that, our taxicab vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, aired and vacuumed, regularly serviced and kept in the best condition. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, okay?

“I think taxi drivers are psychopaths, they creep me out. Never know if they’ll take ‘the wrong turn’ or something.”

Errrm… let’s just put it this way: all of our drivers have undergone thorough background checks to ensure our own and our clients’ safety. Not a single one of our drivers has a record or has been (falsely) accused of a crime. We also have records of their previous employment and letters of recommendation as testaments of their credibility and fantastic service. So, if you book a taxi with Yellow Checker Cab – you’ll be 100% safe.

“The drivers are usually extremely impolite, edgy and rude.”

Although everyone’s allowed to have a bad day, month or a year there’s a thing called professionalism and leaving your troubles at the door when you come to work. Yellow Checker Cab staff is respectful, friendly and positive. Everyone’s cultured and pleasant, and always ready to cater to our customers. What’s more important, our drivers are perfect in reading the atmosphere and the customer’s mood: if they see you are getting ready for a meeting, or just don’t feel like chit-chatting, they won’t force the convo on you. If they feel you need a chat, they’ll be more than happy to talk you up. Impolite is just not in our company’s character… you’ll see that next time you ride with Yellow Checker Cab.
